Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our reclaimed and heritage timber flooring.
How do you source your vintage wood?
We ethically salvage our timber from historic barns, old warehouses, and decommissioned industrial buildings. Each plank is hand-selected to ensure it retains its unique character and structural integrity.
Is reclaimed wood compatible with underfloor heating?
Yes, many of our engineered vintage floors are specifically designed to be compatible with underfloor heating systems. We recommend consulting with our technical team to choose the right thickness and grade for your project.
What is the typical lead time for an order?
Since our wood often requires custom milling and finishing, lead times typically range from 4 to 8 weeks. We will provide a more precise delivery estimate once your specific order is placed.
Do you offer samples before I commit to a full purchase?
Absolutely. You can order individual sample swatches through our website to see the grain, texture, and finish in your own home lighting before making a final decision.
What is your return policy for flooring products?
Unopened packs of standard stock items can be returned within 30 days, subject to a restocking fee. Please note that custom-milled or bespoke finished orders are non-returnable unless defective.
How should I maintain and clean my vintage wood floor?
We recommend using a pH-neutral wood cleaner and a microfiber mop. Avoid excessive water and harsh chemicals, as these can strip the natural oils and waxes that protect the vintage patina.
